We were delighted to be asked to work on this Christmas Campaign for the Dog’s Trust, which marked our second time working with the charity.
Weeks of research end development went into creating the adorable miniature “Corky” puppet, made from real Champagne corks, and measuring less than 8cm. Clever miniature mechanisms and rigging allowed Corky puppet to bark, prick up it’s ears, scamper, bound and even wag it’s tail. Then the team of puppeteers rehearsed the minute movements required to bring “Corky” to life. The final spot was voted “Top Christmas Commercial” by audiences in the prestigious Opinium poll, and was assumed by many to be achieved with stop motion, because it seemed impossible to achieve with puppetry.
